From our ranch in a small jungle village, ride a long the banks of a beautiful river.
Take a refreshing swim and enjoy a brief rest, at a small waterfall, after which we ride up into the mountains to an exclusive lookout with a panoramic view of the bay.
Shortly there after, we continue our ride down to a rustic restaurant perched on the mountain side, after our visit to the restaurant we remount and ride through the tropical forest returning to our village trailhead where our van is waiting to take you back to your hotel.

We'll pick you up at a convenient pick up point and drive you to Rancho El Charro, in the rural village of Playa Grande, nestled on the banks of the Pitillal River at the foot of the Sierra Madre mountains. Enjoy a continental breakfast, then mount one of our well-trained animals specially selected for your level of riding skill.
Upriver your guide will identify the tropical trees, plants and wildlife a long the trail. You will visit a small waterfall in a jungle arroyo and later return to the river, a great place for a swim! continuing your ride you arrive at a mountain lookout point with a magnificent view of the bay and town below. Surrounded by lush tropical vegetation, you continue to a rustic jungle restaurant.
The meal is authentic Mexican cooking accompanied by interesting salsas and side dishes such as cactus salad, charro beans, jocoque, sour cream and handmade tortillas! Enjoy soft drinks or beer, then top it off with baked bananas with honey as a special treat for dessert.
We’ll take you back to your hotel after the meal. The ride and the lunch are a great way to get away for a while on an unforgettable mountain trail ride.
